The Armory Show
The 30th Anniversary edition of The Armory Show opens next week September 6th–8th, with a VIP Preview Day on September 5th again at the Javits Center. This year welcomes the fourth iteration of Armory Off-Site, which brings together performances across the city and large-scale sculptural installations at the US Open. The fair will also present a newly redesigned theater as part of Armory Live, which features public conversations and the Curatorial Leadership Summit, the invitation-only symposium bringing nearly 100 curators to the fair. For its 30th anniversary, The Armory Show is partnering with Hästens for a special presentation to recreate a hotel room inspired by the fair’s original 1994 edition at the Gramercy Park Hotel. MORE
Art on Paper
Art on Paper, New York City’s celebrated, medium-driven fair, returns to downtown Manhattan’s Pier 36 during September 2024’s Armory Art Week. This year’s fair will feature 100 galleries showcasing top modern and contemporary paper-based art, marking a significant milestone with its tenth edition. MORE
Volta New York
VOLTA New York 2024 opens its 16th edition at Chelsea Industrial opening with a Collectors Preview on September 4th. With over 50 exhibitors in its 2024 New York edition, spanning 5 continents and 18 countries, the fair seeks to break the traditional homogeneity of the market under the new leadership of Artistic Director, Lee Cavaliere. Salon Zürcher
The 31st Edition of SALON ZÜRCHER, a satellite fair of The Armory Show will feature 11 women artists to show their work in the Zürcher Gallery space on Bleecker Street in Manhattan. As a continuation of the project 11 Women of Spirit, which had 9 editions from 2020-2024, 100 Women of Spirit + involves the presence of the 11 participating artists. Salon Zürcher offers collectors an intimate alternative to the large-scale, superstore-style art fairs. Here, visitors have the rare chance to speak directly with the artists. MORE
Cube Art Fair
Cube Art Fair, the World’s Largest Public Art Fair, returns to New York City for its 11th edition with a must-see public art exhibition. For its 11th edition, Cube Art Fair continues to push the boundaries of accessibility, making art a dynamic part of public life, not just in theory but in practice.
