OTTO 958 Spring/Summer 2024.

Felix Art Fair + Dover Street Market have revealed their lineup of special merchandise curated exclusively for the Los Angeles-based art fair.

The inaugural partnership fuses art, fashion, and design at an unprecedented scale – redefining the traditional art fair experience to seamlessly merge these dynamic industries.

The Felix Art Fair x Dover Street Market collection showcases original collaborations between visual artists and Dover Street Market labels, including Oscar Tuazon x Felix x Comme de Garçons SHIRT, Oscar Tuazon x Felix x Comme de Garçons WALLET, David Hammons x Denim Tears, Sky High Farm Workwear x Nike x KAWS, Sterling Ruby x Vans, Mike Kelley x Brain Dead, ERL x Robert Lazzarini, OTTO 958 x Rocky’s Matcha, OTTO 958 x Levi’s, Total Luxury Spa t-shirts with artists Meriem Bennani, Cyprien Gaillard, Lauren Halsey, Pacoima Techno, and Cauleen Smith, and Parley for the Oceans artist series featuring Julian Schnabel, Doug Aitken, Jenny Holzer, Ed Ruscha, David Lachappelle, and Katherina Grosse. Also available are standalone designs by creatives Kiko Kostadinov, Bárbara Sánchez-Kane, Susan Nemeth, Rick Owens, and Brett Westfall. Offerings encompass apparel, accessories, and footwear, along with exclusive and limited-quantity co-branded products tailored for Felix Art Fair.

Comme des Garçons’s Black Market, a semi-covert, half-hidden, fly-by-night, transient shop offering exclusive black colored Comme des Garçons collaborations with a wide range of creatives and labels will be showcased through a special installation nestled within Oscar Tuazon’s sculptural intervention. Black Market’s product selection features items from the past and the future of Comme des Garçons, including hoodies, shirts, t-shirts, and accessories, as well as Rei Kawakubo’s highly sought after furniture. Black Market shops emerge infrequently, instead of holding to a specific schedule – this will be the first time the pop-up is available in Los Angeles, and the fourth time it’s available outside of Japan.

Beyond exclusive artist and designer collaborations, limited edition offerings and a selection of signature Dover Street Market brands selling pieces from their SS24 collections will be available for exploration and purchase at the fair, including Comme des Garçons, Comme des Garçons Homme Plus, Comme des Garçons SHIRT, Comme des Garçons x Mikimoto, PLAY Comme des Garçons, BLACK Comme des Garçons, Comme des Garçons WALLET, Comme des Garçons Parfums, Adidas, AIREI, Alaia, Alabaster Industries, Castro, Charles Jeffery, Chopova Lowena, Completedworks, Dimepiece, doublet, Edward Bess, ERL, Heaven, IDEA Books, Jacquemus, Jacques Marie Mage, Jiwinaia, JW Anderson, Kiko Kostadinov, Marc Jacobs, Mature Ha, Melitta Baumeister, Monies, Nike, OTTO 958, Our Legacy, Parley for the Oceans, Purple Magazine, Random Identities, Rocky’s Matcha, sacai, Salomon, Shay, Shihara, Shushu/tong, Simone Rocha, Sky High Farm Workwear, Solange Hotlips, Sophie Buhai, Stephen Jones, Suzanne Kalan, Tom Wood, Undercover Madstore, Undercover x Medicom, Vans, Vaquera, Walter Van Beirendonck, and 13 Lucky Monkey. Also available is a curated selection of books by artist Leonard Koren, courtesy of IDEA. Throughout the fair’s duration, Felix and DSM will release new drops daily.

Together, Felix Art Fair and Dover Street Market have commissioned artist and sculptor Oscar Tuazon to design and build a site-specific structure that will play host to the DSM store inside the hotel’s ballroom. Known for a practice which occupies the liminal space between architecture and activism, Oscar Tuazon works with natural and industrial materials to create installations that can be occupied by or engaged with.

Additionally, to celebrate this partnership, Felix Art Fair and Dover Street Market have collaborated with the groundbreaking creative agency KALEIDOSCOPE on a special zine that will be available for free exclusively to the fair’s visitors. Featuring original photography by Jack Bool and interviews between Al Morán of Felix Art Fair, James Gilchrist of Dover Street Market, and artist Oscar Tuazon, the publication documents the fair, Los Angeles and its culture, the cross-pollination between art and fashion, Oscar Tuazon’s work and his building of the Dover Street Market shop, as well as the limited-edition product available to shop.
