Kanye West is working on a concept car as reported in thedrive.com.
Designer Steven Smith has been appointed as Head of Donda Industrial Design to pursue the project. Smith is primarily known for his work on sneakers. His portfolio includes the New Balance 574 and Adidas Artillery, as well as the Boost 700 shoe from West’s own YEEZY line.
The vehicle will be manufactured in the United States.
“Donda” is West’s late mother’s name, and also titled the rapper’s tenth and eleventh studio albums.
Smith said:
“[Kanye] pushes me and we go to new places, and together as a team, we all create things that people have never seen before,”
