French Riviera presents Nicholas Pankhurst – Dream Algebra, the artist’s second solo exhibition at the gallery. On view will be a series of 2D and 3D works, made using a new technique developed by Pankhurst, that involves casting and painting on polyester resin.
Nicholas Pankhurst studied at Chelsea College of Art and the Royal College of Art, and lives and works in London and Gloucestershire, UK. In 2019, Pankhurst was Bauhaus Artist in Residence at the William Morris Gallery, London, as part of Waltham Forest Borough of Culture. During his residency, he was commissioned to create his first public sculpture, Colour Box, which was installed outside the William Morris Gallery for seven months.
