Tomorrow Friday 17 July, Tate will host the first online Late at Tate Britain. Tate Collective Producers Present Late at Tate Britain Online, a streamed event that will explore how young creatives are responding to lockdown, identity and activism. The event is co-curated by Tate Collective Producers, 18-25 year olds who produce a range of free events and workshops for young people. This July, they have created an online iteration of the vibrant monthly event featuring workshops, talks and music. Highlights include playlists presented by Reprezent Radio, discussions on being creative and making art in isolation and an Instagram filter workshop with new media artist Huntrezz. Viewers can tune in to the stream on the Tate website from 7-9 pm BST or watch online for a week following the live event.

Curated by young people, for young people, Late at Tate Britain is a gathering space for experimentation and idea generation. ERIC Festival will bring a creative twist to career guidance at this month’s event. Viewers will be introduced to the importance of self-awareness and confidence in the workplace, giving them tools to sell themselves to potential employers. Tate Collective Producers will also introduce themselves, sharing their reflections on lockdown and their experience of being involved with Late at Tate Britain.

The multidisciplinary femme-focused platform HERVISIONS invites viewers to make their own face filter with artist Huntrezz considering what reality and identity mean in the age of social media. Huntrezz will also discuss how she engages with activism through her practice and followers can try out bespoke face filters on the Tate Collective Instagram.

Late at Tate Associate Creative Researcher, Soofiya will host the first ‘Soof Introduces’ with three young creatives. Simone Niles, Lloyd Wood and Paul Ifeneziuche will share their experiences of staying creative during lockdown and tips on making art from home. Youth-led station Reprezent Radio will present a curated playlist set to visuals by artist Antonio Roberts
