Art Night 2017
ART NIGHT OPEN 2019
The Art Night Open programme invites London’s artistic community to participate in the festival with proposals of projects in response to the 2019 curatorial themes. Successful proposals will include curated events at local organisations and site-specific projects in public realm, landmark venues and urban spaces along the Art Night trail in Walthamstow, with a focus on Walthamstow Market, alongside further activations planned for King’s Cross.
Inspired by the lyrics of 90’s pop group and Walthamstow locals East 17, the 2019 programme will consider the themes of hope, love and the future; thinking how we approach the difficult political and cultural times we live in, and the importance of facing these with solidarity, care and support.
