In 2015, after years of campaigning and multiple attempts, Robin Hood Gardens estate in East London listing wwas rejected
The same year, Joe Gilbert made a documentary about the estate called ‘Streets in the Sky’ vimeo.com/142528155. It’s purpose was to capture it on film before it was gone forever.
In 2017, demolition began. Joe returned to document its slow destruction.
