Last year, Fendi launched F is For… – an online platform created for the next generation of Fendi fans to connect with the world around them and each other. To mark its first anniversary, Fendi has rounded up six international street artists, enlisting them to work on installation “The Ring of The Future” – a new mural celebrating collaboration without international borders, which sits atop the Palazzo Della Civiltà Italiana in Rome.
The artists each add elements from their respective aesthetics, with Gary Stranger renowned for his graphic, edgy curvature, Hillel Smith for moving images inspired by his Jewish heritage, and Jodae his interpretations of Shamanistic symbols. Iranian artist Cave, Casper from Japan, and Roes, co-founder of the Hong Kong art collective Smile Maker HK, make up the six.
