Applications to be part of Art Night 2018 are now open.
Art Night 2018 is curated by Ralph Rugoff and the Hayward Gallery, and coincides with the institution’s 50th Anniversary. For its third edition, Art Night moves south of the river, from Southbank Centre to Battersea Power Station through Vauxhall and Nine Elms. As part of this year’s programming, the festival would like to invite cultural organisations, independent curators and artists to submit ideas for projects to take place along the trail. Successful proposals for Art Night Open will feature curated events at local institutions, and/or site-specific projects in the area’s public realm, landmark venues and urban spaces.
With 75,000 visitors in 2017, participation in Art Night is an opportunity to engage new audiences, and provides a platform on which to present work in extraordinary locations while exhibiting alongside renowned cultural organisations and artists.
