New research from Artfinder has shown that given a level playing field (Art platform) women artists outperform their male counterparts. Artfinder artists are 53% women and 47% men. Women sell 40% more art on Artfinder than men do, and for a greater total value. For every £1m of art men sell, women sell £1.16m thats £160,000 more, BOOM.
