Dubai has unveiled plans for its latest architectural wonder: the
Museum of the Future, a shiny, ovular building filled with robots and other technological inventions. Expected to be complete in 2017, the museum will cost an estimated $136 million and will be located in Dubai’s central financial district next to the Emirates Towers on Sheikh Zayed Road.
“The Museum of the Future will be an incubator for ideas and real designs, a driver for innovation and a global destination for investors and entrepreneurs,”
said Sheik Mohammad.
Large sections of the structure will be 3-D printed, however no further details have been released.
