Neil Russell – Mixed media on glass slide
As an Artist my primary focus is the physicality of the medium of paint. I like to work on a range of surfaces, both 2D and 3D, as I am mainly interested in surface and texture. My work is predominantly autobiographical. As an artist I have always been interested in recycling old materials, first as a matter of necessity due to economic restrictions and latterly as I am interested in recycling an item to give it a new lease of life.
