Toby Evans ‘B-Mart’ Private view @JaguarShoes : Thursday 14th February, 7pm till late

Toby Evans is Graphic designer based in London, B-Mart is his first solo exhibition and will pay homage to the bold packaging of budget brands. Taking inspiration from the likes of Happy Shopper, Machine Mart and Dunkin’ Donuts, Toby will transform the first floor interior of DreamBagsJaguarShoes into his own fully stocked and branded supermarket complete with staff uniforms and pharmacy counter.

Toby graduated with a 1st class honours in Graphic communications. He produces striking line based image and text work that epitomises the post-modern design ethos of being simultaneously nostalgic and thoroughly modern. His work also references the American giants of Graphic design, Herb Lubalin and Paul Rand.

Since graduating Toby has produced work for clients including, Boiler Room, Umbro, Red Bull, Red Stripe, Whistles, Bleach London, Sony Music, Palace Skateboards, Domino Records, Rita’s Bar & Dining, NTS Radio and JaguarShoes Collective.

In conjunction with the exhibition JaguarShoes Collective will be producing some limited edition prints and t-shirts.

JaguarShoes Collective is an arts organization that collaborates with illustrators, designers and brands to create beautiful and unique products, exhibitions and events. Famous for their ambitious and experiential shows across popular East London venues, DreamBags JaguarShoes and The Old Shoreditch Station, JaguarShoes Collective set the standard for originality.
