I want the World’s First Intelligent Wearable Camera OMG’s ‘Autographer’.
Autographer is the world’s first intelligent wearable camera; a device poised to revolutionise the way we think about photography and how we go about recording our everyday lives. It captures thousands of photographs a day using a specialised custom wide-angle lens, enabling the user to “see the unseen”.
Using five sensors and GPS, Autographer decides the perfect time to take a picture automatically by sensing changes of light, colour, motion and direction. It spontaneously captures moments and stories, unpredictable images that reveal a new way of seeing the users’ world.
As well as being cool it looks cool and this is down too ChauhanStudio who sought to develop a design that was:
quietly expressive yet ultimately unobtrusive: something that would look harmonious when worn across different styles and attitudes. This has been achieved by experimenting with different iterations of the outer body, eventually crafting relatively simple surfaces, channelling expression to the lens area. The design inevitably came to serve a bigger purpose, becoming the brand signifier for this and the future Autographer models.
The final design is visually clean, the body relatively minimal, contrasted with the strong and identifiable Autographer Eye lens detail. To achieve this ChauhanStudio used innovative plastics, precision metals and hidden displays. The product’s accessories are a stylish compliment to the device with premium leathers and bright accent colours, but most importantly they enable the Autographer to be worn and used with ease.
