Sadly she will be leaving us next week when she signs to a gallery. It is fair to assume that her work will soon be increasing significantly.
‘Untitled – Folly of Empire’ is particularly impressive in the flesh and Georgina’s ink drawings – where each piece is titled with a letter, occupy a wonderfully indistinct borderland between emerging stains, fragmented mug shots, and ink blots used in psychological testing.
We think it is kind of wonderful that the viewer/patient persists in seeing human faces.”
