On Sunday, 4th March at 12 noon, Mad For Real will stage a Soya Sauce and Ketchup fight in front of Tate Britain. You are warmly invited to this live performance.
In May 2000, artist Cai Yuan and JJ Xi first staged a Soya Sauce and Ketchup Fight in Trafalgar Square during the Anti Global Capitalist protests. The project has been made into video and showing in various institutions. Since then, it has been performed in many countries and locations including in the Liverpool Biennial 2002, the Prague Biennale 2003, Haus Der Kulturen Der Welt, Berlin 2006, Louisiana Museum of Modern Art, Denmark 2007, Thessaloniki Biennale, Greece 2009, Gwangju Museum of Modern Art, Korea 2010.
