In northern Spain, police have discovered Manolo Blahnik shoes made of cocaine.
Drug traffickers from Colombia disguised the drug as famous women’s shoes, to smuggle it into Spain. While original Blanik shoes retail at around US$960, the illegal versions—made of cocaine paste—would have a street value of more than US$64,000. Police also arrested the alleged drug gang in a raid in Gorliz, in the Basque region, and seized four kilograms of cocaine.

Those detained had been bringing in cocaine shaped as women’s shoes for two years,” a spokesman for Basque police. Via:(DesignTaxi)
