Organised by a loose collecture of three contemporary ventures CARTER presents, L-13 and Isis Gallery, the Bear Pit brings together 20 international artists across a a two-floor installation that encompasses sculpture, painting, photography and installation.
the BEAR PIT will run concurrently with Frieze and will present an alternative platform for work that would otherwise be represented, artists include Martin Erik Andersen (DK), Alice O Malley (USA), Dallas Seitz (CAN), Brian Reed (UK), Billy Childish (CH) and Neal Jones (UK).
the BEAR PIT is a raw pre-warehouse space located behind Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre and Tate Modern on Bankside and opens at 12 noon today, before a press view this evening from 6 -9.
