It’s a unique celebration of human potential inspired by Lance and dedicated to the fight against cancer. Over twenty renowned artists offered their time and creativity to express the LIVESTRONG message and raise funds for the Lance Armstrong Foundation which is committed to inspire and empower people affected by cancer.

Artists included in the exhibition are Cai Guo-Qiang, Rosson Crow, Jules de Balincourt, Dzine, Shepard Fairey, Futura, Andreas Gursky, KAWS, Geoff McFetridge, Yoshitomo Nara, Catherine Opie, Os Gemeos, Erik Parker, Jose Parla, Raymond Pettibon, Lari Pittman, Richard Prince, Ed Ruscha, Tom Sachs, Kenny Scharf, Eric White, Christopher Wool, Dustin Yellin and Aaron Young.

The online exhibition Space is Time looks back through Andreas Gursky’s oeuvre, from Paris, Montparnasse (1993) to Tokyo (2017) to his most recent body of work, surveying Gursky’s relationship to the art of cinema, the power of photography to suspend or expand time, and the effect of smartphones on “the way we see.”

3. Sales Pitch oil on paper 62cm x 84cm 2020 The piece depicts another JC Decaux advertisement structure in Edgware Road. The title for this piece is taken from a short story by Phillip K. Dick of the same name. The premise centres on omnipresent, intrusive and even aggressive marketing robots which plague the protagonist’s life and personal space. At the end of the story, the protagonist is driven mad by the robot who can forcefully and legally advertise itself until it is bought, and ‘no’ is not taken for an answer. FAD MAGAZINE
