Faces acrylic on canvas 213.4 x 182.9 cm – 84 x 72 inches 2007
Maureen Paley, David Ratcliff, 6-8pm, info:www.maureenpaley.com
“Maureen Paley is staging a solo show. Early works consisted of spray-painted stencils culled from magazines and adverts, fighting for space on the canvas. His recent, more complex paintings suggest he has found a way of combining the dark, heady energy of previous works and a more abstract appeal.”
David Ratcliff at Maureen Paley Private View Friday 17th April 6pm-8pm
