#LastChance- ‘Art Space’ from Lawless Studio

Lawless Studio’s ‘Art Space’ closes this coming Monday 26th August so you still have the chance to buy some art where 100% of the money goes to the artist.

As Lawless Founder Josh Moore says:

My idea was to have almost a consumer facing version of what Lawless looks like visually, but with a physical space you could walk into. So if you scroll through our Instagram feed, you will see a number of artists that we work with regularly, so their style has become almost a ‘Lawless’ style. My idea was to have that replicated when you walk through the doors of Art Space, to see the artists visual styles together in one place, which adds up to the visual identity of Lawless.

The other interesting thing is that we’re not taking any commission for the artworks sold. We’re passing ALL profits on to the artists. This is our way of thanking them for supporting us from day one, and getting artists fairly paid in the process. Our work is perhaps more accessible too, than some of capital’s other galleries, due to the price points of the pieces.

But the main thing we’re trying to bring to life through Art Space is the sense of community seen within tattoo and graffiti disciplines. We have had the space as a focal point for artists to feature at, hosting live painting sessions, workshops, art clubs, as well as being present to discuss their works with fans who want to come by to see the art and the artist.

Exhibiting artists:

Nerone is a well-known French street artist who has conquered the art world with his sublime style of painting. By mixing floral art in an abstract style, Nerone brings the spotlight onto the colours and blooming appeal of the subject. His art is unique. The chaos on the walls or canvas does not reflect the meticulous and inventive process that allows him to capture the motion. Nerone’s art represents a fresh breath in the world of street art. His compelling works of art speak to viewers in a very absorbing and dynamic way with an unstoppably upbeat vibe.

Jade Pearl describes herself as a distinctive fashion house, devoted to enhancing both your appearance and vitality through the lens of artistic psychology and energy. As well as painting portraits, Charlotte has an abstract style present with her latest collection: the ‘beings’.

Tim Gresham, aka ‘Penfold’, is a painter, printmaker and sculptor. His chosen fields range from explorative abstract paintings and screenprints to large scale immersive installations and murals. His work takes inspiration from fashion and film and takes a strong, graphic and noirish take on photorealistic portraits.

Shaun Azrak is a painter and tattooist, taking inspiration from the movement of energy. Using both the canvas and walls to experiment, he works with abstract knots, taking inspiration from the ancient celtic knotwork of his native Scotland and fusing them with influences from his graffiti background and the technological age we live in, producing a style he calls “celtic futurism”
