What does justice consist of, and how can a system of justice be arrived at? Amartya Sen is here to talk about his book, The Idea of Justice, the first major restatement of a theory of justice in 30 years. Amartya Sen is Lamont professor at Harvard University, a Nobel prize winner in economics, and author of The Argumentative Indian and Identity and Violence. After a short lecture, Sen will be in conversation with John Gray, author of Gray’s Anatomy, Straw Dogs and Black Mass.
