After the success of the first exhibition devoted to “Fashion Art” and the International Women’s Day event on 8th March 2011, the Carré Doré Gallery has decided to repeat the experience by combining the two events and exhibiting a new group of internationally renowned artists whose works are inspired by some of the biggest names in fashion, and some of whom have collaborated with such well-known names as Vogue, Vanity Fair, Louis Vuitton, Fiorucci and Lady Gaga, among others.
Fashion becomes Art in the paintings of Amylee (France), the illustrations of Naja Conrad Hansen (Denmark), the fashion photography of Daniela Glunz (Germany), the silk screen prints of Olga Tobrelutz (Russia), the sublimely creative shoes of Kobi Levi (Israel) and the works of young Russian-born artist Daria Jabenko.
Private View by invitation only : 7th March 2012 at 6:30 pm, on the eve of International Women’s Day, under the patronage of Baroness Cécile de Massy and the Monaco Fashion Chamber.
In the presence of members of the Russian Cultural Club of Monaco, various political and cultural organisations, and the artists.
