From 4th to 8th December, 2024, Artist BAISHUI presents her latest artwork series Raindrop at Art Basel Miami Beach.
Raindrop features seven sculptures, continuing BAISHUI’s exploration of water. The pieces depict seven different forms of raindrops falling from the clouds. The life of a raindrop crystallizes in these works, presenting a picture of the water cycle.
The Raindrop series extends BAISHUI’s artistic approach of “magnifying tiny things.” The artist has altered the scale of natural objects—raindrops and people. Through this transformation, the artist aims to evoke new perspectives and inspire viewers to reflect on the relationships between humans and natural objects, as well as between humans and themselves.
BAISHUI is based in Shanghai, Hong Kong (China). An international visual and installation artist. Embracing an unbounded approach, BAI SHUI infuses art with a vivacious creativity, transforming profound contemplation into profoundly experiential and engaging artistic works, continually shaping an innovative, exploratory, and avant-garde style. Through a fusion of hand-drawing and AI digital painting techniques, collage methods, and the innovative use of synthetic materials, she creates distinctive easel paintings. MORE: baishui.art
