The original playground was planned to take place at Bargehouse. However, due to an urgent update from Bargehouse regarding structural damage that has resulted in the building’s closure for health and safety reasons, the playground has now been relocated to The Handbag Factory, 3 Loughborough St, London SE11 5RB.
SWANFALL ART demonstrated exceptional resilience and professionalism when faced with the sudden closure of their original venue due to unforeseen structural issues. With remarkable efficiency, they swiftly secured a new location, ensuring the seamless transition of their exhibition without compromising the integrity of the event. Through their meticulous planning and dedication to both the artists and the audience, they mitigated any potential stress or disruption. The entire process was handled with care and precision, allowing the exhibiting artists to focus on their work, confident that their creations were in capable hands. This commitment to excellence reflects SWANFALL ART’s unwavering dedication to fostering a thriving and supportive artistic community, even in the face of unexpected challenges.
THE PLAYGROUND
playground – The Annual Exhibition by SWANFALL ART is a vibrant art carnival featuring a stunning array of works by both renowned and rising talents. Unlocking the potential of the high-ceilinged white cube galleries in the Handbag Factory, this art carnival brings together a thrilling mix of eight immersive units over three weeks. From the expressive beauty of paintings and drawings to the interactive experience of installations, the emotive power of film, and the silent narrative of photography, this playground is designed to ignite your senses and curiosity. It invites the audience to explore, discover, and reconnect with the fundamental joy of creating and appreciating art.
The exhibition will now be extended until 19th October 2024 and will unfold as a series of exhibitions in three chapters.
