Henry Moore. Ideas for Sculpture Works from the Henry Moore Family Collection Exhibition design by Zaha Hadid and Patrik Schumacher Hauser&Wirth 15 Old Bond Street, London W1S 4AX
15 October – 14 November 2008 Opens Tuesday 14 October, 6 – 8pm
Hauser & Wirth presents a major exhibition of over 60 important works from the Henry Moore Family Collection. Spanning 50 years — from drawings made while he was a student in the early 1920s to pieces from the 1970s — it offers both an overview of Moore’s career and a highly personalised insight into his private world, showing seminal sculptures, rare life drawings and exploratory sketches.
Our Old Bond Street gallery has been transformed for the occasion by Zaha Hadid and Patrik Schumacher, whose organic architecture and specially commissioned pieces provide a novel context for re-approaching Moore’s oeuvre.
Henry Moore Private View Tonight October 14th
