I would probably still be a confused architect doing houses for west London people.

Any new age artist doing mystic mountain scenes with flying white unicorns.

Warhol for the parties. Da Vinci for the talent. Bacon for his liver.

Three dimensionalism
5 What was the most intelligent thing that someone said or wrote about your work?
I am waiting for that comment, any day now!

Your paintings are pretty.
7 Which artists would you most like to rip off, sorry, I mean appropriate as a critique of originality and authorship?
I would most like to appropriate Gilbert and George’s wardrobe for their fabulous outfits.
8 Do you care what your art costs? State your reasons!
Yes. Appreciation and validation of ones work is important, and it’s reflected in the price.

10 Are you a political artist?
No.
11 How do you start the process of making work?
I scribble. I always find things I like in the chaotic nature of scribbles.
12 What next?
I put tracing paper on top of the scribbles and trace shapes, faces; anything that I find to be interesting and beautiful. Scribbles to me are the main source of information and the inspiration from where I take my ideas.
13 If Moma and the Tate and the Pompidou wanted to acquire one of your works each, which would you want them to have?
After an excitement induced heart attack, I would give them anything they want, even
my dog.

18. What’s next for you?
Organise my next exhibition “Flux” which is taking place at the Old Truman Brewery, East London, in May. This is followed by another one in June in West London…and continue to have fun creating big paintings that people will hopefully enjoy.
