Net A Porter are launching an app dubbed The Net Set. Released as invite-only today May 13th. The social app will allow fashionistas to share their photos online, maintain a following and subscribe to other users for style inspiration.
What sets The Net Set apart is a special dress-matching feature. Every time someone uploads a photo of what they’re wearing, the system scans the inventory for the same clothes or something that closely matches the current dress. A link between the photo and a purchase page will make The Net Set an Instagram that you can buy from. Via PSFK
The Net Set app is Net-a-Porter’s response to a growing number of mobile device shoppers using smartphones, tablets and even smart wearables like Apples Watch.
