30 July – 18th August 2013

Free Summer Art Clubs designed by Day Job Studio, recent graduates from Camberwell College of Arts, takes place throughout the first half of August 2013 in Peckham Space and is inspired by the array of fast food outlets of South East London. This programme includes free drop-in activities, workshops, art and music.

Once you are inside the gallery there is so much on offer: you can draw your favourite meal and step into the Play-o-logy inflatable digestive system, dress as a giant slice of pizza and design a hat in order to become our employee of the month! You can also help us prepare for the Peckham Peace Picnic on 17 August by making ‘fast food bunting’ which will be displayed throughout Peckham Square at the event.

What is Day Job Studio? A Peckham based collective of 10 illustration graduates from Camberwell College of Arts, University of the Arts London. Their celebrated projects have so far included ‘Pick Me Up’ at Somerset House and the Peckham themed ‘V&A Last Friday’, both in 2013. Day Job Studio specialise in publications, prints, workshops, set design and installations, all created with an ethos of playfulness and the desire to encourage abstract thinking.
