A special live performance by Birdy will take place on Sunday 6th September as part of Charlotte Colbert’s exhibition Possible Landscapes, currently on view in Venice during the 61st International Art Exhibition of La Biennale di Venezia.
Taking place from 3pm–6pm at Palazzo Corner della Ca’ Granda, the public programme coincides with Venice’s historic Regata Storica. It offers visitors a chance to experience the exhibition through music, conversation and publishing.
The afternoon centres on a live performance by Birdy, who earlier this year collaborated with Colbert on a lyrical soundscape created specifically for Possible Landscapes. The event will also include the presentation of the exhibition catalogue and a public discussion featuring Colbert, curator Yasmine Helou and selected contributors.
Presented across Palazzo Corner della Ca’ Granda and Aman Venice, Possible Landscapes remains on view until 30th September 2026. Conceived specifically for Venice, the exhibition brings together a series of surrealist stainless-steel sculptures that explore imagination as a transformative force capable of reshaping how we perceive reality and envision the future.
At the heart of the project is the monumental sculpture Possible Landscapes, a large-scale arch crowned by a single eye that acts as a symbolic portal between inner and outer worlds. Elsewhere, works including Where Angels Live, Supernatural Tendencies and There is Light Somewhere create a poetic journey through mythology, memory, spirituality and desire.
The special programme arrives at a significant moment for Colbert, whose profile continues to grow internationally following the recent unveiling of her public art project, Chasing Rainbows, in New York, and as she completes post-production on her second feature film, Becoming Capa.
Set against one of Venice’s most celebrated annual events, the afternoon offers a unique opportunity to experience Colbert’s multidisciplinary practice through the combined languages of sculpture, sound and storytelling.
