Transport for London has announced a new cultural partnership with the British Museum, offering 2-for-1 entry to the acclaimed exhibition Hawai’i: a kingdom crossing oceans for visitors travelling via the TfL network.
Running until 11th May, the offer allows Londoners and visitors to save up to £18 on standard adult tickets, while encouraging sustainable travel to one of the capital’s major cultural destinations.

Hawai’i: a kingdom crossing oceans explores the deep and complex relationship between Hawai’i and Britain, marking 200 years since the royal visit of King Liholiho and Queen Kammalu to London. The exhibition brings together more than 150 works, including feathered cloaks, shark-toothed weapons, historic artefacts and contemporary Native Hawaiian art, offering a layered account of sovereignty, exchange and cultural resilience.
The TfL offer is valid for up to three full-price tickets and three free tickets per transaction. Visitors can redeem it online at britishmuseum.org/hawaii using the code HAWTFL24, or in person at the museum’s ticket desk. One member of each group must show proof of travel via the TfL Go app or a valid TfL Oyster photocard on entry.
Emma Strain, Customer Director at TfL, said:
“We are delighted to partner with one of the UK’s most popular attractions to offer our customers this fantastic 2-for-1 offer at the British Museum. London’s cultural scene is one of the best in the world, and by using the TfL network, customers can save money while exploring it.”
The announcement forms part of TfL’s wider cultural partnerships programme, which also includes ongoing 2-for-1 offers at HMS Belfast, the Royal Observatory, and Historic Royal Palaces such as Kensington Palace, the Tower of London and Hampton Court Palace.
