Women in Art Fair Prize 2025 jury revealed.

Women in Art Fair (WIAF) have revealed the jury for the Women in Art Fair Prize 2025, an award dedicated to the celebration and recognition of outstanding female-identifying artists.

The selected artists will have the opportunity to exhibit their work at gallery@oxo from 19th to 21st June. This year’s jury brings together influential figures from across the arts. Each known for their commitment to artistic excellence and advocacy for women throughout creative industries.

Meet the Jury:

Alison Mosshart © David James Swanson

Alison Mosshart – A celebrated musician, artist, and frontwoman of The Kills and The Dead Weather. Mosshart’s creative practice spans both music and visual arts. Her work, known for its expressive energy and raw emotion and has been exhibited internationally.

Charlotte Jansen (UNGA)

Charlotte Jansen – An esteemed art critic, writer, and curator of the Discover section at Photo London, Jansen has contributed to major publications including The Guardian, The Financial Times, and Elephant
Magazine. She is recognised for her insightful analysis of contemporary art, particularly focusing on underrepresented voices.

Vanessa Raw (Graeme Purdy)

Vanessa Raw – Known for her paintings of imagined, same-sex, intimate scenes of women. Raw’s work is deeply intuitive, exploring themes of identity, transformation, and the subconscious. Her evocative paintings have gained critical acclaim for their bold, dreamlike compositions.

Virginia-Damtsa with Sculpture by Von Wolfe

Virginia Damtsa – A respected curator, art dealer, and cultural strategist. Damtsa has over 30 years of experience in the art world and is renowned for her skilful identification and support of emerging talent. She has worked closely with some of the most innovative artists and globally respected institutions.

The Women in Art Fair Prize seeks to amplify the voices of women in the art world–providing a platform for groundbreaking talent and fostering an inclusive network of female-identifying artists. By supporting the artistic excellence of women artists, WIAF is a beacon of in the fight against the entrenched gender imbalance within the art industry.

The shortlisted artists will be exhibited at gallery@oxo during Women in Art Fair 2025 offering a unique opportunity for visibility and recognition on an international stage.

Women in Art Fair is a new initiative dedicated to redressing the gender imbalance in the art industry. WIAF ’s mission is to create a positive global platform from which women artists, curators and gallerists are allowed to show their work and contribute to the developing exchange of ideas around gender, sexuality, and culture.

Jacqueline Harvey, Director of Women in Art Fair. Goldsmith’s College educated, she worked for ten years as Managing Director for Art Strategics, a Mayfair gallery that championed inclusivity and diversity through successful exhibitions, education and international fair programme. In addition to her career in the arts, Harvey is an established author, writing books on health and well-being. Her experience in art fairs extends to participation at START, London Art Fair, Masterpiece, Art Basel, Art Bahrain. Jacqueline

We need to celebrate the journey we have been on and look at the new paths and opportunities we are going to create for future generations.”
