NISO x Biscuit Gallery, a commercial contemporary art gallery located on Shoto Cultural Street in Shibuya are doing a collab exhibition “bridge” opening this Thursday January 30th and running through to February 16th, 2025.

Presenting a group exhibition featuring Japanese artists based in Tokyo or London from biscuit gallery, and international artists based in London or Europe from NISO.

We are honored to collaborate with NISO on this first gallery collaboration project for Biscuit Gallery.
We named it “Bridge” not just to express the relationship between our two gallery locations, London and Tokyo, but also to imagine the exchange of artistic development through this exhibition. Although the world has become smaller due to the spread of the Internet (online information exchange), we believe that the significance of receiving, experiencing, and exchanging information directly and live offline is still great, even in 2025.

We, the gallery, are the ones who build this bridge, but the participating artists and the viewers will be able to freely enjoy the new scenery they can see from this bridge and the future development of art beyond it. We hope that this will be an opportunity for you to do so.

Biscuit Gallery is a contemporary art gallery established in January 2021 in search of new possibilities. Born during the difficult times of the COVID-19 pandemic, we have a spirit of transformation and creativity and continue to explore new forms of art. We believe that art can bring new value and joy to people’s lives by transcending the boundaries between online and offline and introducing the works of talented artists from Japan and abroad globally.

Located in the heart of Shibuya, Tokyo, the gallery aims to provide a place where up-and-coming contemporary artists can thrive and create a space where the general public can easily experience art. Even after the pandemic, we remain committed to connecting with the world through art and spreading cultural diversity and creativity. Biscuit Gallery will continue to bring a breath of fresh air to the art scene.
