Portrait BAISHUI

From 4th to 8th December, 2024, Artist BAISHUI will present her latest artwork series Raindrop at Art Basel Miami Beach.

Raindrop features seven sculptures, continuing BAISHUI’s exploration of water. The pieces depict seven different forms of raindrops falling from the clouds. The life of a raindrop crystallizes in these works, presenting a picture of the water cycle.

BAISHUI, Raindrop Series

The Raindrop series extends BAISHUI’s artistic approach of “magnifying tiny things.” The artist has altered the scale of natural objects—raindrops and people. Through this transformation, the artist aims to evoke new perspectives and inspire viewers to reflect on the relationships between humans and natural objects, as well as between humans and themselves.
