Night of Photojournalism at the PhotoSaintGermain Festival
As part of the PhotoSaintGermain Festival, the Fondation Carmignac, CatchLight, Dysturb and PhotoSaintGermain, present the Nuit du Photojournalisme, with discussions, debates, screenings and music by Laurent Bardainne. Projected photography exhibited will center on 4 themes: WOMEN, PLACE, STATE OF THE UNION, and WINNING and show the work of celebrated photojournalists.

“Magnum. A World of Photography” Presented by FOTO ARSENAL WIEN
Bringing together renowned photographers and Magnum members Martin Parr, Bieke Depoorter, Rafa Milach and Susan Meiselas, together with international academics, the conference will delve into artistic archives and provide a rare inside look at the workings of Magnum Photos. Simon Baker of the MEP, Florian Ebner of the Centre Pompidou, Felix Hoffmann of FOTO ARSENAL WIEN, independent curator and scholar Renée Mussai and Sophie-Charlotte Opitz of Bucerius Kunst Forum will all be facilitating conversations.

Ten artists respond to the theme of representations of the body and the lore of the Hôtel La Louisiane in this group exhibition, which re-imagines ten hotel rooms as a part of the PhotoSaintGermain festival.

Valparaiso — Los Abandonados at Magnum
In Valparaiso, Sergio Larrain perfected his eye for unique angles and captured the town in photos, from the nightlife to the children he saw abandoned in the streets. Now, over 40 vintage and early gelatin silver prints from the Chilean port city are exhibited for the first time.

Der Greif x Foam x Photoworks x TPG
In an afternoon of discussions addressing the impact of artificial intelligence on photography and visual culture, guests like artists Marcel Top, Stéphane Degoutin and Gwenola Wagon and Ben Millar Cole will unpack the role of AI as an agent and collaborator and the shift towards synthetic images.
