KAWS + Warhol have been teamed up for a new Uniqlo collection. Last year they did a similar collection with KAWS on his own.
Andy Warhol’s iconic motifs merge with KAWS’s distinctive characters in a new collection that honors both artists. This release coincides with the ongoing KAWS + Warhol exhibition at The Andy Warhol Museum.
The collection features a wide array of items, including tees, sweatshirts, coach jackets, socks, tote bags, and kids’ apparel. The graphics blend seamlessly, with KAWS characters holding Warhol’s iconic banana or accompanying his robot sketches. Fans can easily identify each artist’s influence, yet the two styles harmonize beautifully.
Alongside the collection, a KAWS + Warhol art book will be released by Monacelli. The book offers a side-by-side comparison of their works and includes an interview with KAWS. Those who purchase the book from UNIQLO will receive an exclusive tote bag.

Andy Warhol was born in Pittsburgh in 1928, and died in New York in 1987. Warhol’s work has been the subject of exhibitions throughout the world, including retrospectives at the Museum of Modern Art, New York (1989), and Neue Nationalgalerie, Berlin (2001–02, traveled to Tate Modern, London, and Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles, 2002).
