Dumplings’ Legend are coming to Frieze Masters 2023.

Dumplings’ Legend are coming to Frieze Masters (YaY), serving a variety of classic dishes. The highlight will be a selection of ‘Dim Sum”. Parcels of thin steamed dumplings with fillings from seabass and fennel to the classic Cantonese ‘Har Gau” prawn dumplings. Signature Xiao Long Bao, made by the master Dim Sum chefs filled with a meaty soup pork broth.

Other dishes will include regional classics such as slow-cooked tender pork belly, Lamb and Beef brisket.

The Leong Family has been instrumental over the last four decades, in bringing Chinese cuisine, which originally was solely from Hong Kong, they now showcase dishes from across China including regional cooking from Donbei, Sichuan and Xin Jiang. Offering fresh flavours and authentic tastes from many provinces. Their passion in the F&B industry has been marked by their openings of TAKU, Michelin starred, Japanese Omakase restaurant and their newest Opening INÉ by Taku, debuting in Hampstead.

This is such an exciting opportunity to present what I believe is Frieze’s first regional Chinese and dim sum and Xiao long Bao specialist. Visitors at the fair often spend all day and rarely have time to leave all the incredible art to eat! To allow all the visitors a taste of authenticity which I am sure most of the Asian clients visiting are already very excited about, and most importantly the dumplings are steamed in minutes so heopefully the long expected queues will move fast.

Says Geoff Leong Founder of Dumplings’ Legend.

Geoff Leong has personally supported numerous nonprofit arts initiatives, from backing a 40,000 sq ft space in Cavendish Square, London, for international curators and artists over the past decade to fundraising for the Barbican Trusts. He has also co-chaired the artist patron program for Barbican and served as a patron for Sotheby’s Arts for Grenfell, contributing to raising millions for the victims of this tragedy through the generosity of artists and supporters, among other endeavours.

There will also be for the first time a selection of gluten-free dumplings for vegans, pescatians and more.
