IBM company’s former name was International Time Recording Company (ITR), and in 1888, it changed its name and logo to International Business Machines Corporation. Paul Rand designed the current IBM logo in 1972. The horizontal stripe from the IBM logo refers to the “Speed and Dynamic,” which means IBM is ready to adapt to the change and work according to situations.

Nike has a subtle but robust logo. It is the name of the Greek Goddess of victory. Her wing Swoosh inspires Nike’s logo. According to Greek Mythology, Swoosh is an immense power giver and motivates warriors. It is the perfect logo for this company as it offers sports apparel and accessories.

Two brothers-in-law, Burt Baskin and Irv Robbins started selling ice-cream in 1948-49. Later on, they combined their venture and called it Baskin – Robbins in 1953. One local advertising agency suggested that he keep 31 as their logo, representing that they have different ice-cream flavors for the full month. The name of this advertising agency is Ogilvy and Mather.

It is one of the biggest sports brands. Many things that ADIDAS stands for “All Day I dream about Sports.” However, it is not valid. The name of Adidas owner is Adolf Dassler. Ron Wayne designed the first Apple logo. He aspires Sir Isaac Newton when he sits under the tree, and he has thought of gravitation. Then, this logo was replaced by the rainbow apple, which is designed by Rob Janoff. However, they believe that many people may confuse this logo with a cherry.
