Frieze New York goes bijou for 2021

Frieze New York is going bijou for 2021 moving from its tent on Randall’s Island to the Shed for a smaller Art Fair making it easier to manage in these COVID times (and a lot easier to get to- which is great)

Frieze New York at The Shed will host 60+ of the world’s leading galleries and feature the fair’s much-celebrated section Frame, devoted to emerging galleries. The fair will be accompanied by an expanded program of collaborations, special projects and talks.

This is a time for creativity, flexibility and collaboration, all of which have led us to an exciting opportunity to hold a smaller fair at The Shed, alongside Frieze Viewing Room online that will connect galleries and audiences all over the world

Victoria Siddall, Global Director, Frieze Fairs

Frieze Viewing Room will run alongside Frieze New York at The Shed and benefit from enhanced digital functionality, reaching a global online audience and those that might not be able to travel to New York.

I am proud that Frieze New York continues to be innovative and community driven, qualities that will be reflected in our 2021 programming

Loring Randolph, Director of Programming, Frieze New York

Opening May 5th-9th, Frieze New York The Shed
