Damien Hirst has collaborated with Officine Panerai for a exhibition at Watches & Wonders Miami 2018. The showcase will display two “spin painting” pieces from Hirst: Beautiful Sunflower Panerai Painting and Beautiful Fractional Sunflower Panerai Painting, both from 2011. The former will be at the Moore Building’s Telling Time Exhibition, while the latter will be displayed at Panerai’s Miami Design District flagship boutique.
“I love Panerai. The watches are timeless and I made this spin painting using black Panerai watch faces without hands in the pattern of the seeds in the head of sunflower,I hope the painting makes you think, we are here for a good time, not a long time.” said Hirst
