750 sq ft gallery available free of charge: The Gallery at Republic

The Gallery at Republic, a new development for tech and creative business at East India, is offering space for artists looking to show work or host events, including art and photography exhibitions, talks, presentations and screenings.

The 750 sq ft gallery is available free of charge on the criteria of creative merit and financial need. The gallery’s curators particularly welcome proposals for the use of the gallery from individuals and organisations based in East London.

The Gallery at Republic is multifunctional space, with seating capacity for 70 and audio visual equipment. Chairs are available for loan, and stage blocks can be used to create a raised platform for speaking or performance. A full tech and lighting specification is available, and the gallery is accessible from the DLR station onsite. Located in Zone 2, Republic is 13 minutes from Bank, 22 minutes from Bond Street and 7 minutes from Canary Wharf.
