Its a tough job but someone had to do it. Can you head down to probably the most glamourous fair in London and do a quick top5 in between the champagne and people watching – Yes of course we can –
1 Crane Kalman C10
With a couple of Alexander Calder’s an Anthony Caro and a Frank Auebach how can you go wrong? We also really liked a small painting by Mary Newcomb. A very colourful well thought out booth.
2 Robert Young Antiques C11
We didn’t come here for antiques – Not really FAD’s thing but this stand was so lovingly put together/ curated with a great sense of humour and a wonderful attention to detail. It is also the best smelling stand in the whole fair .
3 Kunstberatung Zurich C18
Guilty Pleasure we really like a bit of Tamara de Lempicka but they also have a couple of very cute Kandinsky’s
4 Axel Vervoordt C2
Archaeological pieces, Oriental sculptures, 18th century furniture, 20th century design, ZERO and Gutai art phew !
We really liked their Japanese paintings from the Gutai Group founded in the 1950’s very avant garde.

Lyn Chadwick Howling Wolf not much else to say.
