Preview: Francis Bacon ‘Catalogue Raisonne’

The notorious works that have not left the pages of The Art Newspaper for a few weeks now. The gallery ascribes them to Francis Bacon but that authorship has been rejected by Bacon;s catalogue raisonne.

FRIDAY 13 MAY

Closing event: Shelagh Wakely ‘Spaces Between Things’

 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM @ Richard Saltoun, 111 Great Titchfield Street, London W1W 6RY

Korean dancer and choreographer Yong Min Cho (b. 1967) will perform a new choreography in tribute to Shelagh Wakely, alongside a performance by British artist and critic Sarah Kent (b. 1947). The evening and exhibition will close with a final reading of a specially commissioned poem by Thomas A. Clark (b. 1944).

Sarah Crowner in conversation with Amira Gad

New York based artist Sarah Crowner will discuss her new work exhibited in Plastic Memory at Simon Lee Gallery, consisting of a new series of stitched paintings alongside a hand-made ceramic tile mural and floor installation.
