Artist Olafur Eliasson has created a lovely solar phone charger

Artist Olafur Eliasson’s illuminating work has been delighting and inspiring viewers for decades, all over the world. In recent years, Eliasson has moved toward bringing art, design, and solar power together to light up off-grid areas of the world.

Since his Little Sun lamp debuted at the Tate Modern, he’s been working on a solar power charger inspired by the idea that “we’re all connected by the sun.”

Called Little Sun Charge it is a high-performance solar phone charger and light which Olafur has designed with engineer Frederik Ottesen. Find out more over at his Kickstarter: www.kickstarter.com/projects/littlesun/
