A group of artists and programmers in Stockholm have set up a service Onehundredforty, that transforms your tweets into beautiful, one-of-a-kind wall art.
Onehundredforty allows you to select a tweet and turn that into a unique art print .
As David Dworsky, one of the creators, explains:
We want to put the user in the center of the final art piece—to merge the artist and the owner of the print. You can pick your own words, a friend’s or, why not, James Blunt’s? We aim to save memorable words from being lost in the digital ether.
Once chosen, the words are paired with a beautiful design. Onehundredforty uses an adaptable grid for different tweet lengths and a dynamic design dictated by Onehundredforty’s algorithm. The result is over 5,000 different design outcomes.
Onehundredforty uses 300-gram paper, embossing, handwritten signatures and mails the prints out in durable tubes to avoid folding or any damage during travel.
