The German company responsible for some of the lightest and most expensive carbon fibre wheels and frames, has collaborated with Audi’s quattro department, responsible for the four wheel drive system on some of its cars, to produce the Audi Sport Racing Bike.
The new limited edition bike, with only 50 to be sold worldwide, was unveiled at the recent Geneva Motor Show and will cost €17,500. It uses Lightweight’s Urgelstalt carbon fibre frame and rolls on Meilenstein carbon fibre clincher wheels, and is built up with a Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 groupset. Reportedly the bike weighs just 5.8kg (12.78kb).
