Christian Marclay’s major solo exhibiton at White Cube is now open. A number of international musicians will perform at White Cube each weekend for the duration of the exhibition (28th January – 12th April), with the London Sinfonietta joining them on Sundays. The performances will be recorded direct-to-acetate and on 5th February, The Vinyl Factory Press will spring to life, pressing the first batch of records.

All performances are free and open to the public, but spaces will be allocated on a first-come-first-serve basis.

The VF Press is the world’s first mobile vinyl factory. Housed in a seven-tonne shipping container with fully opening panels, audiences can witness on site the unique process of producing vinyl records, from the initial recording at concerts to the cutting and pressing. The Vinyl Factory Press will work away to press each performance in batches of 500 records, screen printed on site by Coriander Studio and available for £25 each from the gallery, and vfeditions.com.
