The West London-based photorealist painter, Ben Johnson has won the £10,000 Visitors’ Choice Award at this year’s Threadneedle Prize with his work Room of the Revolutionary. The winner, decided by a vote from thousands of visitors to the exhibition, was announced at a special awards event at the Mall Galleries last night.
The Threadneedle Prize and Curated Space will end on Saturday 11 October. This week is the last chance to see all chosen entries made to The Threadneedle Prize 2014, including Tina Jenkins’ winning work. Guest Curator Sacha Craddock also exhibits works by leading artists including Sarah Lucas, Chantal Joffe and Grant Foster in Curated Space.
