James Kerr is a multi-disciplinary artist working mainly in digital media and context. Kerr’s project ‘Scorpion Dagger’ which started with the aim of creating one GIF a day evolved into an epic pool of digital works presented on a tumblr site. The works draw references from biblical figures, classical paintings and stories, some which are embedded into our collective memory, to a familiar present-day scenario and into the digital era. You can see his work @DegreeArt in ‘Post Digital: Are We There Yet?’ until 14th August 2014, 12a Vyner Street, London E2 9DG.
