PLAYTIME will receive its world premiere at Victoria Miro with photographic works exhibited at Victoria Miro Mayfair.
This major new work explores the dramatic and nuanced subject of capital and is set across three cities: London, a city transformed by the deregulation of the banks; Reykjavik, where the 2008 global financial crisis began; and Dubai, one of the Middle East’s burgeoning financial markets. Featuring an international roster of actors including Maggie Cheung, Mercedes Cabral, James Franco, Colin Salmon and Ingvar Eggert Sigur?sson.

Stan Douglas: Doppelgänger

Victoria Miro is to present Doppelgänger, a video installation by Stan Douglas. Debuted at La Biennale di Venezia, 58th International Art Exhibition, May You Live in Interesting Times, this ambitious work will be exhibited for the first time in the UK. Doppelgänger will concurrently be on view at David Zwirner, New York, opening on 16th January 2020.
